Looking for bar code labels where security features are necessary such as signs of tampering or photocopy / counterfeit prevention? Electronic Imaging Materials offers a variety of security label options which can be used in applications such as employee id badges, access control, high value electronic & computer products, product warranty void, counterfeiting prevention, and many others. Security features can be used alone or combined to create a label unique to your needs. In addition to the unique security features, these labels also perform where durability, moisture, temperature, and solvent resistant bar code labeling is needed. Labels are offered pre-printed with the option of text, graphics, barcodes, sequential numbering, or your own unique data requirements. Hundreds of label sizes are available. In some cases blank labels for thermal transfer printers are available for printing on site. Custom configurations are also possible. We can apply some of these security features to specific zones within a larger blank label. (see example)

Tamper Evident Security Labels
Tamper Evident "VOID" These labels separate into layers when removed. When removal is attempted the labeled surface is marked with a white "VOID" pattern. The removed label is rendered useless by becoming clear in the "VOID" areas. Available in white or silver face stock. Available pre-printed or blank. Pre-printed labels are also available with a protective over-laminate providing even greater durability.
Destructible label breaks apart into small pieces when removal is attempted. Once the adhesive has cured these labels cannot be removed and reapplied. Due to its plastic construction, it is also waterproof and resistant to cleaning solutions. Common uses include asset tracking and warranty marking. Available pre-printed or blank.
EnLaser™ White VOID Labels -- Quick to set up and easy to use!  These envelope size sheets minimize wasted labels.  The innovative 2 part label construction adds protection and increases durability.  You print on-site, which means no more waiting for labels and since you are using your own laser printer, there's no need to buy an expensive barcode printer!

Copy Proof Labels

SecuraLabel® (red) This red label is readable to the eye and most barcode scanners but prevents duplication in black & white copying machines. A photocopied label results in a black non-readable image that will not scan.

SecuraLabel® (black) For greater protection from modern copying technologies this black on black label allows scanning with an infrared bar code scanner but prevents duplication in B&W copiers, color copiers, and computer document scanners. (note: printed image on original label is slightly visible to the eye)

SecuraLabel® (holographic) Holographic optical patterns in static or variable printed form can be added to your labels that are nearly impossible to duplicate. Typically used to protect against counterfeiting or for unique high-quality label presentations, we can add them to our other security label features.

InvisiLabel® Protect your products from costly counterfeiting and piracy. Invisible phosphorescent taggants are integrated within your labels which allows you to quickly verify discrete images or text with a handheld or fixed black light. Your UV images or text are applied over white or printed backgrounds using a variety of synthetic label materials. For additional impact and/or more security, we can also incorporate multi-colored printing and other unusual features such as holographic images for more covert data control in asset tracking and authentication.
