EIM Solves The Latest "Lead-Free Initiative"

The environmental impact of lead released from electronic equipment is fast becoming a major concern of consumers and governments around the globe. A fast moving "Lead-Free Initiative" aims to eliminate the use of all lead in wave solder alloys, but that means labels used in PCB manufacture will need to handle higher temperatures. EIMINC solves that by offering our latest polyimide addition―410 White Polyimide―engineered to handle increased temperatures with less discoloring, less label curl and more chemical and solvent resistance.

410 This 2 mil Polyimide is made to withstand the higher temperatures associated in Lead-Free Solder processes. It has a smooth, semi-gloss white coating for fine resolution printing and increased chemical resistance when printed with our T84 / T85 thermal transfer ribbons. An ultra-strong permanent acrylic adhesive prevents edge lift and label curl. This is suitable for auto-apply applications. UL Pending.
409 This new 1 mil Polyimide is made to withstand the higher temperatures associated in Lead-Free Solder processes. UL Pending.
405 This polyimide offers a highly reduced level of ESD (electrostatic discharge) often created when labels are removed from a liner or PCB. Designed for SMT and IR reflow processes, it has been tested against tricholoroethane, freons, and other chemical reagents. You will find this product has very high abrasion resistance and excellent solvent resistance. On top of all this, it offers fine print quality and will work very well in automatic application. We recommend the use of the T84 and T85 ribbons.
374 Made with a permanent acrylic adhesive this label is designed for interior use and to handle intermittent exposure up to 500°F. This is a new economical alternative for high temperature resistance, excellent durability and dimensional stability. We recommend the use of the T96 and T97 ribbon.
340 A popular White Polyester, this thermal transfer label is made for printing with durable resin ribbons that achieve excellent scratch and water resistance. Its aggressive, high performance permanent adhesive makes it ideal for applications such as instrument marking, long-term outdoor use, asset-tracking and post-solder circuit board marking. This material is UL Recognized with printed with our T80 / T81, T84 / T85 or T76 / T77 recommended ribbons.
320

This glossy white, tamper-evident polyester label stock transfers a "VOID" message to the surface it is pulled from. It has a thermal transfer top coat and an extra aggressive adhesive. Common uses include asset tracking and warranty marking. We recommend the use of the T76 and T77 ribbons.

323

This gloss white plastic label material self-destructs when tampered with; the effect is similar to peeling paint - the material will actually "fracture". Due to its plastic construction, it is also waterproof and resistant to cleaning solutions. Common uses include asset tracking and warranty marking. We recommend the use of the T96 and T97 ribbons.

This clear laser polyester is perfect for self-laminating requirements such as Wire and Cable ID. You print on a white area and then protect it by wrapping the clear part around and over the print. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications as well as hazardous environments.
