Try our NEW specialty
slide labels!
Do you need to print Slide Labels right in your
Histology or Cytopathology laboratory? Will these labels be exposed to
harsh solvents and chemicals and yet need to retain critical data?
Electronic Imaging is known for offering the widest selection of quality
label solutions in tough lab environments. For many years, our blank
XyResist® and preprinted XyRepel® label products met most of these
needs. Over time
however, we have seen slide processes change, along with the chemicals
and solvents used - each one creating a new challenge. We also know that
labels may never fully overcome the abuse of slide processing without
some form of protection.
With this in mind, our engineers applied their
creative expertise to develop 2 NEW thermal transfer Slide Label
Products:
*
CytoLabels®- uniquely
self-laminating
* XyResist®
Code-N-Seal® Labels - go on
bottom of slides (patent-pending)
| CytoLabel® |
Sens-A-Mark® CytoLabels® can be
printed with any thermal transfer printer. You simply print the
solid portion of the label set, place it on your slide and then
peel off the clear film laminate to precisely and easily place
it over the label - all thanks to our special engineering! They
are so straightforward, they can be used in both large and small
laboratory processes.
An easy-to-follow CytoLabel®
instruction sheet comes with each order to show how the design
works. If you have any questions, would like samples or need a
quotation, please feel free to contact us at your earliest
convenience. |

XyResist®
Code-N-Seal® |
XyResist® Code-N-Seal®
is another
exciting slide labeling concept with a new patent-pending design
that looks a bit like a "BAND-AID®" since there is a label in
the center with adhesive around the edge. However, that is the
only similarity.
These labels are ideal
for on-site printing. Your printed information goes in the
center of the label; then you peel the paper liner off the outer
edge and apply the label to the underside (bottom) of your glass
slide. It’s that simple!
Putting them on the bottom of slides means
your XyResist® Code-N-Seal® labels avoid
contact with paraffin, chemicals and solvents. The print is
locked to stay cleanly readable without staining and the
adhesive keeps the label adhered through alcohol and Xylene
dips. They can even come in colors for quick specimen tracking.
BAND-AID® is the registered
tradename of Johnson & Johnson
