Printed Labels for Cytopathology

EIMINC® offers printed labels for use in the lab. Our manufacturing equipment allows us to bring you very durable labels in any format, color and bar code that you need. Preprinted labels are an easy way to improve slide management in your lab. By including bar codes, you can track cases through the lab with a scanner.

XyRepel® Labels that are Especially Durable and have a Long Life
Exposure to lab chemicals including xylene and alcohols means that the labels need to be tough. When we print labels for you, we can use xylene resistant adhesive and protect the printed information on the labels with an extra layer of plastic. These help protect the print and keep the label adhered to the slide, even when slides remain exposed to chemicals longer than usual. XyRepel labels include material types 717, 719 and 721.

XyResist® Labels that are Economical, Durable and have a Long Life
XyResist labels are made of high quality materials which many labs have found suitable for their use including exposure to xylene and other chemicals. When we print labels for you, we can use xylene resistant adhesive and use ribbon specially selected for this purpose. The manner of handling slides should be arranged so contact with the printed surface does not occur when the label is wet with xylene. Xyresist labels include material type 651.

Labels that are available in many Designs and Sizes
The nature of the work done in your lab determines the design and size of the labels you need. You might prefer to work with labels that are in sets including 2, 3, 4 or more slide labels and 1 label for paperwork. Or you might prefer to have multiple copies of the same slide label. The size of the label is up to you. We can make you labels that efficiently use the available space and are of a size you can quickly apply to slides. We can even make you special labels with serial number on the top half and a pen writeable zone on the bottom half. This is a good method for getting required case or patient specific information on your preprinted serialized labels.

Group your work logically to reduce errors and expedite processing
Examples of 1, 2, 3 and 4 labels across. One of the label can be designated for paperwork.	Special Sets can be used to get different label sizes at one time.	We can make any size or set design that you need.

Labels that contain the Information that you need
Facility name, year, sequenced case number, sequenced slide number (if multiple slides per case) are examples of some of the information that we can put on the label for you. White labels and transparent clear labels are available with red, black and blue inks. We can combine colors to give you black bar code and a blue facility name. If you need a bar code to tie into your information system, EIMINC® will work with you to get the right bar code on the labels.

You choose the Information and Design of your labels
Text labels can be white or clear and printed in any combination of colors.	Bar Codes should be printed in black, but we can also add color to the label in other areas.	You can add patient specific information to this label and then fold clear layer over the print to protect it.	Sequential Numbering of cases and slides is available to help you manage your cases. We can print any bar code that you need.
