Utilizing bar codes in your lab can be a daunting task.
Will all my equipment work well with just one bar code? Can I get the size I need?
Can I peel off the label and view original markings on the tube? Will the labels hold up
in the wet damp environment? Is there a label which will stick better?
These questions need answers. We can help you with
our lab experience and label expertise.
Printed labels are
available from EIMINC. Blank labels are also available and
can be printed within your lab, allowing you to determine the data stored on the tubes.

archival life. |
Why label a tube?
A barcode label becomes the test tube's "system ID". Analyzers make use of bar
codes in reporting results to your information system. We have an on-line listing of some of the analyzers that we
support. You LIS system tracks the test tubes through the lab allowing you to locate them
easily. When you apply the label and scan it into your database system, you will either be
given a location for the sample or you will enter the location where you want to put the
sample. We support many LIS systems and can create labels
to work well for you in this area.
